Patient Experience - Medical Care

We provide all medical care through the MyCatholicDoctor platform, the largest provider of restorative reproductive services in the United States. Patients can use insurance for fertility education, medical visits, laboratory and diagnostic testing, and prescriptions.

Initial Consultation

Your first visit with Evangeline will consist of a 1 hr in-depth medical consultation, which can be extended if needed. We'll discuss your relevant health history, goals of care, expectations for medical management, and additional resources to incorporate into your care. After this appointment, you can expect the following…

  1. We will recommend that you establish care with one of our affiliated Fertility Educators. If you are being evaluated for recurrent miscarriage or infertility, using an evidence-based FABM to track your cycle, such as Creighton, FEMM, or NeoFertility, is crucial. You can establish care with one of our affiliated fertility educators, or we can help you connect with a fertility educator of your choice.

  2. Necessary laboratory and diagnostic testing will be sent to a testing center convenient for you. Continued laboratory testing for each cycle will be ordered to ensure efficacy of fertility treatment.

  3. Initiation of prescription medications will be sent to your preferred pharmacy.

Follow-up Medical Visits

Your follow-up visits will entail reviewing the results of ordered laboratory and diagnostic testing, assessing your response to prescribed medications, and examining your menstrual cycle chart. Based on this information and your goals of care, we will determine the necessary follow-up intervals for your care.

Patient Experience - Fertility Education

*The introduction and follow-up fertility education sessions will differ depending on the specific fertility awareness-based method you choose. However, they will all follow the same general format below.

Initial Consultation

Your first visit with one of our partner fertility educators will involve a detailed review of the normal anatomy and physiology of menstruation and reproduction, an introduction to a scientifically validated method of tracking various types of biomarkers, such as cervical mucus, basal body temperature, and urinary hormones, and a structured goal-setting outline of the stages of proficiency. After this introduction session, you can expect the following…

  1. Access to materials needed to chart according to your chosen fertility awareness-based method.

  2. Referral for a medical consultation with Evangeline if needed

  3. Direct line of communication with your fertility awareness teacher

Follow-up Fertility Education Visits

Your follow-up visits will entail reviewing your charted observations, coaching on how to more accurately or proficiently record your observations, evaluating your experiences and concerns regarding your proficiency, and discussing opportunities for improvement.
