Frequently Asked Questions
Do you prescribe hormonal birth control?
We believe that hormonal birth control masks symptoms and does more harm than good. For this reason, we do not endorse or provide prescriptions for hormonal birth control for contraceptive or medical purposes. As an alternative to hormonal birth control, we advocate for the use of FABM for family planning purposes and restorative reproductive medical techniques for medical management needs.
Where are you located?
We are based in Louisiana but we do not have a physical office location. We provide medical and educational fertility care via the MyCatholicDoctor and Google Meet platforms, adhering to the highest standards in patient privacy and confidentiality as required by HIPAA. Because we are telehealth-based, Trey can provide medical care throughout all of Louisiana, and our educators can meet with you wherever you are.
Do you take insurance?
Yes, we accept all major insurance plans for medical consultation and follow-up appointments.
Can I pay out of pocket? What is the cost?
Yes, there are reduced cash prices for patients who do not have insurance or do not wish to use it. Please see the MyCatholicDoctor pricing page for details.
What does insurance cover?
Insurance coverage varies by plan. Please consult your plan for specific pricing.
Medical care is typically covered by insurance, such as medical visits, routine diagnostics, and radiologic exams. There are diagnostic testing modalities we offer that are not covered by insurance and are cash-only. We believe in transparent pricing, so we will work with you to ensure your diagnostic and treatment plan does not incur unnecessary financial hardship.
I am experiencing financial hardship. Can I still receive care?
If pricing is a concern, please contact us. We never want finances to be a barrier to healing.
How do you provide medical care?
All medical care is provided through the MyCatholicDoctor platform. We are tele-health based and can see patients anywhere in Louisiana.
Do I have to be Catholic to be a patient?
You do not have to be Catholic or religious to receive our services. We will respect your spiritual preferences. Please review our disclaimer regarding the services we do not offer.
Do I have to track my cycle to be A Patient?
A core component of RRM is the use of FABMs to target diagnosis and therapeutic interventions. Without using FABMs to track your cycle in a methodical, guided manner, we will be limited in how much we can help you.
